I've been using the three La Soif de l'Or products for a while now to see whether my colour stayed fresher and my hair felt better.

To be honest, I wasn't a big fan of the smell of the shampoo and mask at first but after using it a few times I got used to it. The odour of the spray on the other hand was one of the best I ever smelled! I even spray a little more than I should just because I love it so much!
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the effect of this range. My hair looks and feels better and also keeps its colour longer than before. My hair tends to get darker the longer I didn't wash it, but with these products it doesn't get that much darker.

Ik gebruik de drie La Soif de l'Or producten al een tijdje nu om te zien of mijn kleur frisser zou blijven en mijn haar beter zou aanvoelen.

Om eerlijk te zijn was ik in het begin niet echt weg van de geur van de shampoo en het masker, maar na het een aantal keer gebruikt te hebben, raakte ik er aan gewend. De geur van de spray daarentegen was één van de beste die ik ooit geroken heb! Ik spray zelfs een beetje meer dan ik zou moeten omdat ik er zo van hou!
Ik moet zeggen dat ik aangenaam verrast was door het effect van deze reeks. Mijn haar ziet er beter uit en voelt ook beter en het behoudt zijn kleur langer dan voorheen. Mijn haar heeft de neiging om donkerder te worden naarmate het langer geleden is dat ik het gewassen heb, maar met deze producten wordt het niet zoveel donkerder.

REVIEW⎪BIRCHBOX MARCH

Yet again Birchbox amazes me with their box, I'm almost inclined to just stash them in my bedroom for fun!

Ciaté London Nail Polish in Ivory Queen is actually my first Ciaté nail polish ever. I've always liked their little bottles and colours, but never got to buy one. I was a tad disappointed by the coverage, I needed three layers to have a good coverage that wasn't transparant anymore. I'm also not too happy about the color but that is very personal! I just don't like the color on me, but I bet it looks gorgeous on other people. On the other hand, the color is exactly what it looks like in the bottle, so that's a good point. Also, it dries really fast, which is always a very good quality in nail polish.

Les Anges ont la Peau Douce L'Eau Bleue des Anges is a revitalizing toner. It kind off reminds me of the Nivea Young purifying toner I bought when I was about 16. The toner is very cleansing and my skin feels really well after using it, but not as fresh as I expected. But that is the only little letdown and it really is very very little. I do like using it and will until the bottle is empty.

Sampar Peeling Equilibre Moussant is a peeling in the form of a mask. It's more of an oil than anything else and very runny as well. I actually already tried this before and didn't quite like the product. The smell isn't quite my thing and I don't feel like the peeling is doing anything for my skin.

Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor is a conditioner for damaged hair. My hair isn't quite the damaged kind but as it had been a while since I cut it, I thought I'd give it a try. The conditioner smells a bit like the candy I used to have, not the super sweet kind but more like bubblegum chewing gum. The product isn't really suited for my hair, it leaves it a tad dry and it becomes greasy very quickly after using it.

Compagnie De Provence Savon Liquide de Marseille Menthe is made the old fashioned way like the real Savon de Marseille. I'm not one for minthy odours, only in chewing gum - mostly taste there though. I have quite difficult hands when it comes to soap, for instance I can't use a bar of soap because they leave my hands dry. I haven't had the problem with liquid soaps yet, so I was surprised when it happened with this one. Although, if they use the same way of producing as for the bars, it could make sense.
Birchbox verwondert mij opnieuw met hun box, ik ben bijna geneigd om ze gewoon in mijn slaapkamer te bewaren voor de lol!

Ciaté London Nail Polish in Ivory Queen is eigenlijk mijn eerste Ciaté nagellak ooit. Ik heb hun flesjes en kleuren altijd leuk gevonden, maar heb nooit een aangeschaft. Ik was een beetje teleurgesteld door de dekking, ik had drie lagen nodig om een goede dekking te krijgen die niet doorschijnend meer was. Ik ben ook niet echt tevreden over de kleur, maar dat is heel persoonlijk! Ik vind de kleur niet mooi op mij, maar ik ben er zeker van dat het er prachtig uitziet op andere mensen. Aan de andere kant is de kleur exact hoe hij eruitziet in de fles, dus dat is een goed punt. Hij droogt ook heel snel, wat altijd een goede kwaliteit is voor nagellak.

Les Anges ont la Peau Douce L'Eau Bleue des Anges is een revitaliserende toner. Het doet mij een beetje denken aan de Nivea Young reinigende toner die ik kocht toen ik 16 was. De toner is heel zuiverend en mijn huid voelt heel goed aan na gebruik, maar niet zo fris als ik verwacht had. Maar dat is de enige kleine afknapper en het is echt een heel kleine. Ik gebruik de toner graag en ik zal hem blijven gebruiken tot de fles leeg is.

Sampar Peeling Equilibre Moussant is een peeling in de vorm van een masker. Het is meer een soort olie dan iets anders en is ook heel lopend. Ik had deze eigenlijk al ooit geprobeerd en vond het niet zo'n geslaagd product. De geur is niet echt mijn ding en ik heb ook niet echt het gevoel dat de peeling iets doet voor mijn huid.

Aussie 3 minute miracle reconstructor is een conditioner voor beschadigd haar. Mijn haar is niet echt beschadigd, maar aangezien het al een tijd geleden is dat ik naar de kapper ben geweest, dach tik dat ik het eens zou uitproberen. De conditioner ruikt een beetje als de snoep die ik vroeger at, niet de heel zoete soort maar meer zoals bubblegum kauwgom. Het product is niet echt geschikt voor mijn haar, het maakt het een beetje droog en het wordt heel snel vettig nadat ik het gebruikt heb.

Compagnie De Provence Savon Liquide de Marseille Menthe wordt op de oude manier gemaakt zoals de echte Savon de Marseille. Ik heb het niet echt op muntgeuren, enkel in kauwgom - vooral smaak daar. Ik heb vrij moeilijke handen als het op zeep aankomt, ik kan geen stuk zeep gebruiken omdat het mijn handen droog maakt. Ik heb nog geen problemen gehad met vloeibare zeep, ik was dus nogal verbaasd toen het gebeurde met deze. Maar, als ze dezelfde manier gebruiken om hun stukken te maken, is het wel logisch.

OUTFIT⎪#SKM DE LIEVELINGSKLEREN VAN LITTERIS LAETITIA

I had such a blast thursday at this SKM event! Yes, you read that right, I wrote SKM. The store used to be kinda like a ‘classic mom’ store, but recently they renewed their store and collections. The store is very open and bright, it's really pleasant to walk around in. They also added some younger labels  to their collection to make it a store for all ages - and I can assure you that it's a hit! To celebrate these renewals, they invited a bunch of bloggers to come check it out.

Every blogger got to create an outfit, put it on and do a little shoot in the store. Then we got to choose two items from that outfit and go home with it! In march our pictures will be in store next to our favourite pieces and will have a QR-code that will link back to the blogpost. This evening was definitely one of the coolest things that I got to do since I started blogging! I kinda recreated the outfit from the SKM event and shot it at this amazing location called Rouge-Cloître, not far from where I live. If you’re ever in the neighbourhood, be sure to take a walk there, it’s so beautiful!

Ik had zo veel plezier donderdag bij het SKM event! Ja, je leest het goed, ik schreef SKM. De winkel was vroeger een soort 'klassieke mama' winkel, maar recent hebben ze de winkel en collecties vernieuwd. De winkel is heel open en helder, het is echt aangenaam om in rond te lopen. Ze hebben ook wat jongere labels toegevoegd aan hun collectie om het een winkel voor alle leeftijden te maken - en ik kan je verzekeren dat het een hit is! Om deze vernieuwingen te vieren, nodigden ze een aantal bloggers uit om het te komen bekijken.

Elke blogger mocht een outfit creëren, deze aandoen en een kleine shoot houden in de winkel. Daarna mochten we twee items van die outfit kiezen en ermee naar huis gaan! In maart zullen onze foto's in de winkel hangen naast onze lievelingsstukken en ze zullen een QR-code hebben die naar de blogpost linken. Deze avond was zeker een van de coolste dingen die ik heb mogen doen sinds ik ben beginnen blogger! Ik heb de outfit van het SKM event een beetje ge-hercreërt en ik ben deze gaan shooten op de prachtige locatie van het Rood Klooster, niet ver van waar ik woon. Als je ooit in de buurt bent, moet je er zeker eens gaan wandelen, het is er echt prachtig!

REVIEW⎪BIRCHBOX FEBRUARY

I would like to start by saying that the February Birchbox is such a cute box! I'm not much of a pink or girly girl, but this is just too cute! I'm definitely reusing this once all the products have been tested.

Polaar Nuit Polaire is a revitalising night cream with boreal algae that revitalises and enriches your skin so that you wake up with a radiant skin.
The cream has a very light smell, which is quite nice as you use it just before bedtime. The cream has a thicker texture than what I usually use, but smears out very nicely so it doesn't feel sticky. It also absorbs really well into my skin but leaves like a very thin film on it that makes it feel quite smooth. I have never used a night cream before but I gotta say, this one might turn me to the night cream team!

Rich Haircare CC Shampoo is a "Complete Care" shampoo. They describe it as a CC cream for your hair, so it multiplies the actions that make your hair radiant. It creates an antioxidant barrier and boosts the tired lengths of your hair. It basically reenforces, repairs and protects your hair all in one.
To me, the shampoo is okay but not much more. I don't feel like the shampoo really improves anything and I also felt like it made my hair greasier than usual.

The Number 4 Jour d'Automne Thermal Styling Spray nourishes and protects your hair against heat. You just spray it on your hair lengths before using a hair dryer or straightener. I don't often use either of those, but for the purpose of the blog, let's get them out of that drawer!
The spray is way wetter than I expected and is really not good for my hair. It felt like I didn't even wash it just after washing it. My hair gets greasy quite easily, so maybe this could work for someone with thick hair, but not for me.

Essonce Squalane Oxygen Regenerating Cream, Moisturising Lotion and Cleanser are three products of the Essonce Squalane Oxigen Regenerating line that have as main ingredient squalane, a product that supplies the oxygen in the skincells. This activates the cells and accelerates the regeneration and metabolism to leave your skin looking healthy and fresh.
The cream is a rich and light anti-ageing that supples the skin while giving it a fresh and soft sensation. 
The lotion is a hydrating cream that leaves your skin light and fresh and best applied after removing your make-up. 
The cleanser is to be massaged in gently onto clean skin with some water.
The cream is very thick but also kinda smears out thinly, which I did not expect at first. I have to say that my skin does feel soft and stays that way all day, so I was pleasantly surprised. The cream has absolutely no smell, so no plusses or minuses there.
I absolutely do not like the lotion. It doesn't hydrate my skin at all and feels weird.
I also do not like the cleanser, it makes my skin feel dry instead of hydrated so I stopped using it after one use.

I think this is the first time only one product was a success for me, so this time I was a tad disappointed in the products. But hey, better luck next time!
Ik wil beginnen met er even op te wijzen dat de Birchbox van februari zo'n schattig doosje is! Ik ben niet echt een roze of meisje meisje, maar dit is echt te schattig! Ik ga deze zeker hergebruiken zodra alle producten getest zijn. 

Polaar Nuit Polaire is een revitaliserende nachtcrème met boreal algen die je huid revitaliseren en verrijken zodat je wakker wordt met een stralende huid.
De crème heeft een zeer lichte geur, wat erg fijn is aangezien je het net voor bedtijd aanbrengt. De crème heeft een dikkere textuur dan wat ik gewoonlijk gebruik, maar smeert heel goed uit zodat het niet plakkerig aanvoelt. Het trekt ook zeer goed in de huid in maar laat een zeer dunne laag achter die vrij zacht aanvoelt. Ik heb nog nooit nachtcrèmes gebruikt, maar ik moet zeggen dat deze mij misschien naar het nachtcrème team overhaalt!

De spray is veel natter dan ik verwacht had en is echt niet goed voor mijn haar. Ik krijg het gevoeld at mijn haar niet eens gewassen is net na het gewassen te hebben. Mijn haar wordt vrij snel vettig, dus misschien kan dit wel werken bij iemand met dik haar, maar dus niet voor mij.

De cleanser moet zachtjes in gereinigde huid gemasseerd worden met een beetje water.
De crème is heel dik maak smeert heel licht uit, wat ik in het begin niet verwacht had. Ik moet zeggen dat mijn huid zacht aanvoelt en ook zo de hele dag blijft, dus ik was aangenaam verrast. De crème heeft geen enkele geur, dus geen plus- of minpunten daar.
Ik vind de lotion helemaal niet aangenaam. Het hydrateert mijn huid niet en voelt raar aan.
Ik vind de cleanser ook helemaal niet aangenaam, het maakt mijn huid droog in plaats van gehydrateerd dus ik ben gestopt met het te gebruiken na één keer.

Ik denk dat dit de eerste keer is dat maar één product een succes was, dus deze keer was ik een beetje teleurgesteld in de producten. Maar hey, better luck next time!

Sothys is a French beauty brand that stands for prestige and excellence. Their products are the end result of a long research process. Time to test if the promises of these three products are true.

Nettoyant du matin is a cleansing product for all skin types. The product is creamy and contains camomile-extract to calm and sweet almond extract to ease the skin. This composition erases the impurities the skin produces. Usage is simple: moisten your skin, make an emulsion with water and rinse. 
Hydra Gelcream is a reinvented hydrating cream that originated after advanced research on the patented boleetextract 1055, the exclusive active component. The cream is suited for normal to mixed skin and has a fresh and creamy texture.
Noctuelle is a light night cream that softens the skin. De cream absorbs fast and prevents and diminishes the first signs of ageing. It's suited voor all skin types.  lichte nachtcrème die de huid zacht maakt. De crème absorbeert heel snel en voorkomt en vermindert de eerste uiterlijke tekenen van ouderdom. Hij is geschikt voor alle huidtypes.

Point-blank:  I'm such a big fan of these products! My skin feels really soft and flexible since I've been using these. Especially the Nettoyant du matin is amazing, my skin feels so clean in the morning and stays soft and hydrated with the Hydra Gelcream. At night everything also stays hydrated with the Noctuelle. My skin never looked better!
Unfortunately these products are only available in institutes and spas, which means I'll have to find a good replacement soon...

Zonder omwegen: ik ben zo'n grote fan van deze producten! Mijn huid voelt heel zacht en soepel aan sinds ik deze gebruik. Vooral de Nettoyant du matin is geweldig, mijn huid voelt heel erg gereinigd 's ochtends en blijft zacht en gehydrateerd aanvoelen met de Hydra Gelcrème. En ook 's nachts blijft alles gehydrateerd met de Noctuelle. Mijn huid heeft er nooit beter uitgezien!
Helaas zijn deze producten enkel te verkrijgen in instituten en spa's, wat betekent dat ik op zoek moet gaan naar een goede vervanging binnenkort...
