When you say organic, I think of weirdsmelling and expensive. Yes, that’s a total cliché and when I got the Dr. Organic shampoo and conditioner, I was kind of hesitant at first. Also the fact that it smells like lavender wasn’t a real plus to me. Lavender reminds me of the Provence and I only like it when I’m there relaxing and enjoying the sun.

Dr. Organic mostly uses only natural and organic raw materials. When they can’t use an organic ingredient, they look for a sustainable natural or naturally derived alternative. The brand doesn’t use parabens, perfumes or artificial fragrances, nor paraffin or petroleum. It’s completely green, natural and environmentally friendly! Also suited for vegetarians, vegans have to carefully check the ingredients as sometimes by-products such as honey are used.

The Organic Lavender Shampoo is suitable for all hair types. It volumizes and nourishes your hair and also makes it feel strengthened and manageable. The Organic Lavender Conditioner is also suitable for all hair types. It strengthens the natural condition of your hair by fortifying, nourishing and rejuvenating it.

Now I was pleasantly surprised by the Organic Lavender Shampoo and Conditioner. The texture isn’t weird at all, it feels like just normal, non-organic shampoo and conditioner - yes, that's also a cliché thought I had. The shampoo foams a little less than I’m used to, but still enough to make me feel happy – because I like very foamy soap, hihi. What also amazed me is the scent. Both the shampoo and the conditioner smell like real lavender. When you sniff the bottle, it’s a quite intense, but once used and rinsed, you don’t smell it yourself anymore. Only when you really snuffle your hair of course. My hair really looks and feels as clean as with my regular shampoo and conditioner and it has lot less fluff, but it isn't as soft as with my other conditioner. That's really the only minor point I noticed - but to be honest, I just have very difficult hair - and it isn't a deal breaker at all! So I would definetely recommend it to you if you want to use more environmentally friendly and natural products and love lavender.
Wanneer je organisch zegt, denk ik aan vreemd ruikend en duur. Ja, dat is volkomen cliché en wanneer ik de Dr. Organic shampoo en conditioner kreeg, was ik in het begin een beetje terughoudend. Ook het feit dat het naar lavendel ruikt, was geen echt pluspunt voor mij. Lavendel doet me denken aan de Provence en ik hou er enkel van wanneer ik daar ben om te relaxen en te genieten van de zon.

Wanneer ze geen organisch ingrediënt kunnen gebruiken, zoeken ze naar een duurzaam natuurlijk of natuurlijk verkregen alternatief. Het merk gebruikt geen parabenen, parfum of kunstmatige geurstoffen, noch paraffine of petroleum. Het is volledig groen, natuurlijk en milieuvriendelijk! Ook geschikt voor vegetariërs, veganisten daarentegen moeten zorgvuldig de ingrediënten checken aangezien soms bijproducten zoals honing gebruikt worden.

Nu was ik aangenaam verrast door de Organic Lavender Shampoo en Conditioner. De textuur is helemaal niet vreemd, het voelt als een gewone, niet-organische shampoo en conditioner - ja, ook een cliché idee dat ik had. De shampoo schuimt iets minder dan ik gewoon ben, maar nog steeds genoeg om mij gelukkig te maken - ik hou namelijk van heel schuimende zeep, hihi. Wat mij ook verbaasde was de geur. Zowel de shampoo als de conditioner ruiken naar echte lavendel. Wanneer je aan het flesje ruikt, is het vrij intens, maar zodra je het gebruikt en gespoeld hebt, ruik je het zelf niet meer. Enkel wanneer je echt aan je haar gaat snuffelen natuurlijk. Mijn haar voelt en ziet er even proper uit als met mijn gewone shampoo en conditioner en het pluist veel minder , maar het is niet even zacht als met mijn andere conditioner. Dat is echt het enige mindere puntje dat ik gemerkt heb - maar om eerlijk te zijn heb ik gewoon heel moeilijk haar - en het is helemaal geen deal breaker! Dus ik zou hem echt aan jullie aanraden als jullie wat meer milieuvriendelijke en natuurlijke producten willen gebruiken en van lavendel houden.

WOLFORD SOCKS

Lately I have this thing with socks. If I see a cute pair, I need to have them. Which is weird, right? Nobody sees them and nobody really cares what socks you're wearing. I think this is one of those things I do just for me. Because I do know what I'm wearing in my shoes and because, I don't know, they make me feel cute or something.

So naturally, when I saw these Wolford socks, I started dreaming of them. Just look at how cute they are! I especially fell for the Bastille, the Leonie and the Colora ones. Why? Because they special!
De laatste tijd heb ik iets met sokjes. Als ik een schattig paar zie, moet ik ze gewoon hebben. Beetje raar, niet? Niemand ziet ze en het kan niemand echt schelen welke sokken je draagt. Ik denk dat het zoiets is dat ik voor mezelf doe. Omdat ik wel weet wat ik in mijn schoenen aanheb en omdat, ik weet het niet, ze me schattig doen voelen of zo.

Het is dus volkomen normaal dat wanneer ik deze Wolford sokjes zag, ik ervan begon te dromen. Kijk gewoon hoe schattig ze zijn! Ik viel vooral voor de Bastille's, de Leonie's en de Colora's. Waarom? Omdat ze speciaal zijn!

REVIEW⎪L’OREAL EXTRAORDINARY OIL

For my birthday last year, I got this little hairoil bottle from my friends. I didn't use it until that summer after kind of ruining my hair.

I went a little nuts and dyed my hair red. But then I wanted to go back to my natural blond. You all know what that means: bleach, bleach, bleach! As bleach is not the best product for your hair, my hair dried up and went a little frizzy. That's when I started using the L'Oréal Elseve Extraordinary Oil.
You can apply the oil before washing, before brushing or as finishing touch. I always use it after washing on towel dry hair. Best of all, I only need one or two pumps so I've been using it for a long time now and it smells delicious!
 The oil is a mix of six different oilextracts that each have their own power. Rose that regenerates your hair, lotus to straighten your hair, camomille for shiny hair, tiaré to hydrate, flax for power and sunflower as an anti-oxidation.
Voor mijn verjaardag vorig jaar kreeg ik dit kleine flesje haarolie van mijn vrienden. Ik heb het niet gebruikt tot die zomer nadat ik mijn haar een beetje verpest had.

Ik heb een beetje gek gedaan en mijn haar rood gekleurd. Maar toen wou ik mijn natuurlijke blonde kleur terug. En jullie weten allemaal wat dat betekent: ontkleuren, ontkleuren, ontkleuren! Aangezien ontkleuringsproducten niet de beste zijn voor je haar, werd mijn haar droog en een beetje kroezig. Toen begon ik L'Oréal Elseve Extraordinary Oil te gebruiken.
Je kan de olie gebruiken voor je je haar wast, voor het drogen of als finishing touch. Ik gebruik het na het wassen op handdoek droog haar. Het beste aan deze olie, is dat ik maar één of twee pompjes nodig heb dus ik gebruik hem al heel lang en het ruikt echt heerlijk!
De olie is een mix van zes verschillende olie-extracten die elk een eigen kracht hebben. Roos om je haar te regenereren, lotus om je haar te steilen, kamille voor glanzend haar, tiaré om je haar te hydrateren, vlas voor kracht en zonnebloem als anti-oxidant.

I spotted this sweater a little while ago and I instantly wanted one. Anita de Groot's sweaters are very basic with just one word printed on. Usually, I don't like words on my clothes, but this time it doesn't bother me. Maybe it's the flowerprint or the relaxed look, I don't know. I only know that I probably will order one soon.
